International Pediatric First Aid and Basic Life Support Course

Description: The International Paediatric First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to train individuals to provide immediate first aid care for infants and children in the event of any medical emergency. This course also includes adult essential skills in basic life support as they differ from the skills of the infant and child.
This course is suitable for anyone with a duty of care to either infants or children, e.g
- Minders
- Teachers
- Parents
- Nurses
- Pediatricians

This training course meets the first aid requirements of :
- Ofsted for the Early Years Foundation Stage standards.
- the National Childminding Association, the Pre-School Learning Alliance and
- the Department for Children, Schools and Families Surestart guidelines for Paediatric First Aid.
This is a 2 day intensive training course which will provide first aid skills necessary to manage infants and children who may not be breathing normally, is unconscious, bleeding or is ill or injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
Certification: This course is certified by First Aid international UK with a wallet card and course certification to candidates that have successfully completed all sessions of the training and passed all assessment.
